The final meeting of the Karate Federation of Azerbaijan on the results of 2014 has been held. At a meeting attended by the President of AKF Yashar Bashirov, the First Vice-president of the Federation, the Official Representative of the General Sponsor - the International Bank of Azerbaijan Ilham Gasymzadeh, Vice-president Yusif Mammadov, Secretary General Mirdjabbar Seyidov, the Head Coach of the National Team Hatamov Rahman, Chairman of the Judicial Committee Jahangir Babaev, federation operating personnel, athletes, referees and coaches.
Yashar Bashirov, said in his speech that 2014 became one of the most successful years, said he hoped that the team, being in such a good mood, will achieve high achievements in the upcoming 2015, congratulated the audience on the New Year and the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis. Orhan Suleymanov said that the International Bank of Azerbaijan will continue to provide financial support to the success of the federation. The head of the National Team, appearing on behalf of the athletes, expressed deep gratitude to the leadership of the federation and the general sponsor for the attention and support, said that they will try to justify their trust in the forthcoming tournaments.
At the end of performances, the athletes distinguished throughout the year, were awarded with cash prizes from the general sponsor.
