The Management of the Azerbaijan National Karate Federation (ANKF) held a meeting with the participation of members, coaches of the national team, arriving to France for 51st European Championship among adults, as well as judges.
Addressing the meeting the 1st vice-president of the Federation Rahman Hatamov, Vice President Yusif Mammadov and Secretary General Mir-Jabbar Seyidov, noting the importance of the upcoming prestigious competition, emphasized that a manifestation of high responsibility is required from our athletes. Successful results are expected once again from Azerbaijani karatekas, won 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals in the team competition at the European Championship, held in 2015 in Istanbul.
The meeting was informed about the work done to ensure the equipping of the national team with new outfit, the training of athletes as per special program, the implementation of the vitamin fortification process of the athletes health within the WADA rules, the selection of the members of the national team on the basis of competition.
Coaches and athletes have promised to justify the trust placed in them by the leadership of the Federation. The delegation arrived to Montpellier (France) on May 2 to participate in 51st Championship of Karate in Europe, will return to Baku after a week.
