The Organizing Committee of the Baku 2015 European Games held a demonstration of karate included in the program of the competition. The event was attended by Sports Director of the Organizing Committee of the European Games Pearce O’Kallahan, General Manager of the organization's relations with the National Olympic Committee Konul Nurullayeva, manager of digital and social media of the European Games Rustam Hajiyev, as well as members of the organizing committee.
The event was also attended by the President of the National Karate Federation Yashar Bashirov, First Vice-president Ilham Gasymzadeh, Secretary General Mirdjabbar Seyidov, Secretary for the Press and Public Sanan Maharramov, the judges of the international category, namely, the Vice-president of the Federation Yusif Mammadov, Shahin Khudaverdiev, Anar Allahverdiyev, Nargiz Mehdiyeva, National Category Judge Javid Rafiev, Assistant Coach Rashad Huseynov, Kata Head Coach Vahid Ayvazov, members of the National Team Niyazi Aliyev, Ayhan Mamaev and Tural Baldjanly from candidates for the participants of the European Games.
Sport Competition Manager of the European Games Dmitry Chigenev and sport specialist Aytan Zeynalova provided participants with detailed information about karate as a sport, about international organizations and the success of the sport in Azerbaijan, showed video-information. The President of the Federation Yashar Bashirov outlined the successes of the past 20 years. After that, N.Aliyev, A.Mamaev, T.Baldjanly with participation of judges have shown some kicks, techniques on the tatami and certain moments concerning this sport.
The event continued with entertainment intellectual quiz organized by the Organizing Committee.
