The Baku Open Championship among youth and juniors started on 18 October. At the competition, organized by the Association of Karate-do Federations of Azerbaijan and the National Karate Federation, together with the General Directorate of Youth and Sports of Baku city, 175 juniors from 23 clubs of different regions participated.
Juniors aged 14-15 and young athletes aged 16-17 will enter the tatami of the Olympic Sports Complex «Sarhadchi» on the first day of competition in kata and kumite disciplines. On Sunday, 5 weight categories of men and women aged 18-20 years will fight.
