Honored Coach Shahin Khudaverdiev, receiving an invitation to the coaching position of the Uzbekistan National Team at the 17th Asian Games, has shown good results in the prestigious tournament in South Korea.
Under the guidance of Head Coach of the youth team Sh. Khudaverdiyev, Uzbek karatekas won 1 silver and 2 bronze medals, finishing with 8th place in the overall team standings. This is the highest achievement of the Uzbek National Team at the Asian Games in history. Prior to this, Shahin Khudaverdiev received an invitation to train Uzbek National Team for the Championship of Asia. In this Championship Uzbek athletes also beat its record, winning several medals in various denominations. We also want to note that Kazakhstan sportsmen having passed the final part of the preparation for the Asian Games, together with our team, led by Head Coach Rahman Hatamov also showed good results in the competition.
