The First Vice-president of the National Karate Federation, the official representative of the General Sponsor - the International Bank of Azerbaijan Ilham Gasymzadeh gave a brief interview to «Səs» news agency. The official representative of the Federation informed about serious preparations for the Baku 2015 First European Games.

«We are at the stage of intense preparatory process to achieve high results of our karate at the European Games», - this statement was made by the First Vice-president of the National Karate Federation Ilham Gasymzadeh in an interview with «Səs» news agency. He noted that all the conditions for the successful preparation of the national team have been created: «Our sponsor presented to the Federation 2 new gyms. Junior and senior teams are training in a two-story gym of «İnter Arena» stadium. The gym is equipped with all the conditions and means necessary for athletes. Also premises for massage, methodological analysis, including for judges and coaches have been allocated. In the room of methodological analysis athletes view their battles with the coaches and analyze them.
The hotel is allotted for training sessions. Vitaminization is held by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and judges. Athletes also enjoy the services of the Rehabilitation Center of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
All preparatory work for the Baku 2015 European Games related to the theoretical and practical issues are carried out successfully».
I. Gasymzadeh noted that foreign experts were invited in order to choose the right strategy by our athletes: «We're going to invite foreign experts to participate in seminars consulting with the Head Coach Rahman Hatamov and President of the Federation Yashar Bashirov. The strategy of fighting will be discussed with experts».
The First Vice-president of the Federation said that prior to European Games, our athletes will gain experience in the upcoming tournaments: «Tomorrow, our athletes will travel to France to participate in Paris Open International Tournament. And in March, the European Championship will be held. At these competitions our karatekas will gain experience, examine their potential competitors».
I. Gasymzadeh said that the leadership of the International Karate Federation and members of the Operating Committee of the Baku 2015 European Games visited the training base of Azerbaijani karatekas and were satisfied with the existing terms and conditions at the base: «We met with the leadership of the International Federation of Karate. They read the terms and attended the training and said that karate in Azerbaijan rapidly develops and it can serve as an example for other countries.
At the end of last year, karate presentation has been held in the Operating Committee of the Baku 2015 European Games. Employees of the Operating Committee of European Games acquainted with our training base. A few days before the start of the European Games teams of foreign countries will be trained at our training base.
I would like to note that our seven international judges will serve the First European Games.
We all feel a responsibility in connection with the Baku 2015 European Games. We know that we must achieve high results. Therefore, we are stubbornly continuing to prepare to these competitions».
