On the eve of the 50th European Championship which will be held March 19-22 in Istanbul, the leadership of the Azerbaijan National Karate Federation met with coaches, athletes and referees.
The President of the Federation Yashar Bashirov, wished good luck to athletes and stated that he expects from the national team good results at the jubilee European Championship. Head coach of the team, honored coach Hatamov Rahman said that the team is ready to achieve this goal.
The captain of the national team Shahin Atamov noted that athletes will try to repeat last year's result.

Azerbaijan national team won 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals at the European Championships, which took place in early May 2014 in the Finnish city of Tampere. Our athletes, taking part in the three final fights, for the first time in the history became the champions of Europe.
